Here is our Resurrection Sunday message, from our Pastor Doug Young.
Luke 11:29-32 - "As the crowd pressed in on Jesus, he said, 'This evil generation keeps asking me to show them a miraculous sign. But the only sign I will give them is the sign of Jonah.'"
What was I thinking? "WWIT"
Ensure that next time can be better than last time. This is an extremely important question that we frequently ask but rarely pause long enough to actually answer. We ask, "What was I thinking?" because looking back, our behaviors and decisions don't even make sense to us. But once that question goes through our minds, we don't stop to answer it. What was I thinking? Truth is, we don't usually know what we were thinking.
Romans 12:1–2 - "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."
How to assure next time won't be like last time! To start over, you need to:
Genesis 1:27–28 - "So God created human beings in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number . . .""
How to assure next time won't be like last time!
Romans 8:28 - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
